The beautiful, pebbled Ambrela Beach is located on the west side of the Verudela Peninsula to the south of Pula, about 4km from the city center. The magnificent “Blue Flag” beach is connected to the Brioni Beach by a waterfront promenade. Due to its very shallow shores going into the sea, Ambrela is very popular with families with children. At the nearby children's playground, kids can properly release their energy, as well as on the large trampoline and at the floating Aqua Park for children.
The beach has defined swimming areas that protect against jet skis and motor boats. There is a rich variety of sports and leisure facilities, showers, changing rooms and a public toilets. Furthermore, amenities at Ambrela include lounge chair and parasol rentals as well as a lifeguard. On the beach there is a restaurant, a snack bar, a beach bar and a café. The beach gets rockier towards the edges of the beach. There are many shady spots under the dense pine forest. Parking can be found in the vicinity.
