Visitors bathe with views of the beautiful old town at the 170 meter long, barrier-free city beach of Banj. This gently sloping into the sea pebbled beach first came into existence in 2012 north of the historic center (900 meters). Since 2013 you will also notice the "Blue Flag". Due to the brackish waters of the Krka River, the water here is not as clear as in other coastal areas. Daytime and evenings are hosts to many events and concerts. The beach is suitable for families, singles and young people, sport and thrill seekers, as well as disabled guests. It is easily reached on foot or by car. The beach has showers and toilets and a lifeguard.
For active guests there are numerous leisure activities such as basketball, beach volleyball and a fitness park. Games for children are also available. Beach bars and cafés provide for any physical needs. In the evenings, the youth meet in the bars and nightclubs found here.
