The local Banj Beach is located in a small cove on the north side of the harbor bay, 1 km northwest of the center and is within easy reach. The pebbled and concrete beach extends beneath some hotels and holiday apartments that are, due to the dense amount of trees, hardly noticeable. Scattered stones can sometimes be a bother when entering the sea from the flat shore. The shallow bay, on the other hand, is otherwise very friendly for small children. The beach is easily accessible, even for people with disabilities. Banj is equipped with showers and changing rooms, and hammock rentals are available. You can play water-ball in a protected basin. It is also located near a restaurant with a beautiful terrace and you can play tennis at the surrounding hotels.
