On the west side of the peninsula where the historic center of Rab is located, there is the city beach of Banova Vila (250 meters in a northwest direction). Below the beach promenade there are varied sections of beach consisting of pea-sized pebbles, gravel, rocks and concrete, so that each bather will find something suitable. Sweeping trees provide shade on the promenade. The water is crystal clear and shimmers an emerald green color, which is characteristic of the island of Rab. The beach is close to the center, so that dining and shopping opportunities are in abundance. Pedal boat and kayak rentals provide a chance to do some sporty activities. You can drive up to the old town by car.
