Among the most famous beaches of the resort is Baresica: an almost white pebbled beach lined with Mediterranean trees to the northwest of the harbor. From the village it can be reached after going 400 meters on foot. The narrow, about 200 meter long beach is below a road where there is parking. Those who are not amused in the shallow shores of the turquoise sea can cool off in the shade of the surrounding, isolated trees. Because there is little natural shade and no parasol rental service, it is recommend to bring your own umbrellas or awnings. Cafés and restaurants can be found nearby. Changing rooms are available. To the north lies the neighboring beach of Mira Baresica.
