The sandy Barotul Beach is situated 400 meters east of the center and stretches over the entire lagoon. Barotul is the largest sandy beach on the Pasman Island and has very shallow shores; so shallow that swimmers must go hundreds of meters into the sea before being able to swim. For small children and non-swimmers the shallow water, however, is ideal. On the beach there are concrete lying areas, which are, in part, shaded by the pines. Towards the center, the beach becomes rockier. On the beach there are pedal boat rentals, a water slide and a beach volleyball court.
