Located at a distance of 1.6 km from the center in the north is the easy to reach on foot Basaca Beach. Surrounded by Mediterranean trees, the pebbled Basaca Beach with some sandy sections has different bathing and sunning areas, even on jetties. Below some residential buildings, the very narrow beach sometimes has shallow banks that transition gently into the crystal clear sea. The gently sloping shore is especially appreciated by families and older people. Despite its central location amidst the houses, there is barely any infrastructure to be found here. There is only one restaurant and a beach bar. More leisure services and meals are scanty. Parking can be found in the harbor.
