To the east of Lumbarda, you will find the 1 km long, sandy beach of Bilin Zal, one of the most beautiful and popular beaches in the town. The sandy Bilin Zal Beach is located about 1 km northeast of the center. The crystal-clear sea is popular with swimmers, snorkelers and divers. While the little ones like to dig in the soft sand, adults can enjoy the sun on the spacious bathing plateaus located on the eastern beach section and enjoy the magnificent views of the sea and the opposite-lying Peljesac Peninsula. There is also a fish restaurant with excellent Dalmatian cuisine and a beach café with refreshments and snacks. Lounge chairs and umbrellas can be rented. Off to the sides are rocky sections that lure guests in for secluded swimming and sunbathing. A fee-required parking lot is adjacent to the beach.
