To the northwest, 4.5 kilometers outside of the city center lies the Bosana Beach, surrounded by the green vegetation of the lush forest. The pebbled beach is located below steep cliffs and has a very shallow shore: not only can children swim safely here, but ball sports can be played. The rocks that crisscross the beach can be easily bypassed- even in the water, where you have a good view of the sharp stones. If you arrive be car, you can only go so far as the road and then you must walk the remaining meters to the beach. Docking spots along the banks draw some bathers traveling by boat.
