The beach at Camp Valkanela, between Funtana and Vrsar, is embedded in an idyllic bay with shallow shores and has many extensive pebbled beaches which include sections with cliffs and bathing plateaus that are often surrounded by lush, shady lawns. The magnificent Blue Flag flys high at the Valkanela Beach which provides lifeguards, showers and changing rooms as well as parasol and lounge chair rentals. The popular with families beach has excellent infrastructure and a wide range of sports and leisure activities.
