Beach Copacabana

The popular, pebbled Copacabana Beach is located in the the village of Babin Kuk lying in the northern Lapad Peninsula. Lying just a few kilometers west of Dubrovnik's old town, it provides tourists with wonderful views of the Elaphiti Archipelago and the impressive Franjo Tudman- Bridge directly opposite on the mainland. The pebbled beach shelves gently into the sea and is, therefore, ideal for small children and non-swimmers. Copacabana has a wide range of sports and leisure facilities, so you can, for example, go kayaking, water-skiing or jet-skiing; play beach volleyball or tennis and even try your hand at para-sailing or banana boating. A water slide is also available. A section of this beach has also been specifically designed for people with physical disabilities.

​On the Copacabana beach, you can have a refreshing drink in one of the beach bars or regather your strength in one of several restaurants. In the evening, the beach turns into a trendy nightlife venue. There is also a small disco nearby. Showers, changing rooms and toilets are available as well as lounge chair and parasol rentals. Parking is available near the beach.
