In a bay 1.1 km to the southeast of Krk's center, you will discover the pebbled and rocky “Blue Flag” certified beach of Drazica that lies below the Hotel Valamar Koralj. It is easily reached on foot or by car. The shallow shores are often bathed in by small children, while adults and older siblings make use of the catering and leisure activities at the beach. The beach offers shady spots in the nearby pine forest, but for cooling directly on the beach there are services that rent umbrellas. Stairs facilitate swimmers in getting from the bathing plateaus into the turquoise sea. Toilets and showers complete all that the beach has to offer.
