In a southeasterly direction, about 4 km outside of the city center, you will come across the extensive Glavanovo Beach which is popular with families for its shallow shores, fresh water and shade-giving vegetation. Upon entering the sea you will have shallow seas for a few meters. The bay stretches between houses and holiday apartments, but these are rarely seen due to the lush vegetation. In addition, the beach is located below the main road, where there are parking spots and bus stops. A staircase leads down to the beach.
