The popular main beach of Gornja Vala is located east of the small harbor, about 300 meters from the center located on the peninsula. The gently sloping pebbled beach runs just below the promenade and stretches itself out a total of 4km. Pine and olive trees line the coast and offer bathers shady areas away from the midday sun. You can also spend lunchtime in one of the restaurants that have plenty of food and refreshments in store for bathers and tourists. Active beach visitors enjoy jet skiing and, among other things, volleyball or the large water slide. On the beach, there are parasol, lounge chair and pedal boat rentals as well as showers, changing rooms and toilets.
