Approximately 650 meters northwest of the city center - at the church of Our Lady of Gusarica – is the about 150 meter long pebbled beach of (Gospa) Gusarica, the most popular beach in Komiza. The beach has its sandy places which are covered by fine pebbles- making the bathing experience even more enjoyable. Young children and non-swimmers will find safe places to swim in the shallow shores, but swimmers have to go a few meters out into the sea. The beach stretches along a small alley of trees, which provides for cooling during hot summer days. In the shade of the trees there are park benches and a mini golf course. The beach is easily accessible for people with disabilities. Gusarica has a lifeguard, showers, changing rooms, toilets, a beach bar and a restaurant. Manta Diving Center is also located directly nearby. In the neighboring Hotel Bisevo there are also a variety of spa services.
