Around 1.6 km to the southeast of the city is the Bay of Javorna. The pebbled and rocky Javorna Beach makes for a true adventure for visitors who have to find their way through a dense coniferous forest before walking to the turquoise bay. This is because the beach stretches along the foot of overgrown green hills. Alternatively, why not start the journey by water. The idyllic seclusion of the small bay makes for great swimming even if there is no infrastructure. The ocean entry is indeed shallow and therefore suitable for children and non-swimmers. Due to the rocky subsoil bathing shoes are recommended.
