To the southwest side of the small old city island of Kopara lies the narrow, natural, pebbled beach of Kopara. In some places, the beach is equipped with concrete swimming areas. Large rocks can sometimes make entering the crystal clear waters a bit more complicated. Generally, however, the shores of the Kopara Beach fall gently into the sea. Boats can be moored in the water in front of the promenade. The beach enjoys great popularity with older people, families, young people and romantic couples alike. Parking is available nearby and cafés and restaurants are located in the old town.
