The pebbled and rocky Lanterna Beach lies east of Rabac between the beaches of St. Andrela and Girandella and directly on the same holiday complex. The popular Lanterna beach is just like the other beaches in Rabac- it has received the “Blue Flag”. Lanterna stretches out over a length of 500 meters and is highly structured- rocky sections are alternated with picturesque pebbled sections of beach. Lanterna, for the most part, has a fairly gently sloping shore and this is the reason why it is very popular with families with children. The lifeguard and the defined bathing area provide the necessary security. Lounge chairs and parasols can be rented as well as motorboats and pedal boats. Along the Lungomare there are restaurants and cafés as well as shady spots under the trees. On the beach itself there are several beach bars.
