Lumbarda's city beach is located near the center, just to the northeast and behind the docks of the port. Well- equipped with a pretty beach bar, this pebbled beach is ideal for an impromptu swim in the Adriatic Sea with stunning views of the neighboring Peljesac Peninsula. The gently sloping banks allow for easy access into the crystal clear sea, but beware of the seabed which can be dotted with some larger rocks. A rocky section lies in the shadows of the nearby cypress. Bathing shoes are recommended in this area. In addition, it is also recommended that you bring sunscreen, especially if you do not want to rent the local parasols and lounge chairs. There are also portable toilets next to the beach bar. There is the possibility to rent canoes, surfboards, boats and pedal boats. The little ones will have fun in the floating water park. There are an array of restaurants, cafés and shops in the immediate vicinity of the beach.
