A popular bay for excursions by boat is the Mala Luka, which is located southwest of the main city. The bay can be reached via a land route of only 3km and the distance by boat is not much longer, although more interesting. Many visitors like to drop anchor in the bay, take a dip in the turquoise waters, or try snorkeling along the rugged coast. Since there are little pebbled or rocky beaches here and its coastline is primarily cliff-like, those bathers who come here like to spend most of their time on-board. There is no known infrastructure in the Bay of Mala Luka.
