East of the Dominican monastery in Bol, there is a pebbled beach with gently sloping, small child-friendly shores in the picturesque Bay of Martinica. Here you can swim in a historic setting, close to the old monastery. Trees and shrubs give the panorama an idyllic touch as well as providing necessary shade. It is recommended to bring umbrellas because they can't be rented on the beach. Dining facilities, showers and toilets, are not to be found at the beach. The next (Konoba) tavern is a few hundred meters away. In the courtyard of the monastery that is a restaurant café where you can get refreshments and cool down. Further south there is an isolated bay where nudists like to go.
