About 1 km north of the center lies the Maslinica Bay, which is visited by many boat owners and swimmers due to its idyllic location. Surrounded by trees and rough rocks, the pebbled Maslinica Beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Hvar. The beach has shallow shores and Mediterranean nature, and just as well, is largely underdeveloped for some tourists. The descent to the beach can sometimes be difficult. It would be prudent to bring your own sturdy footwear. Infrastructure, facilities and services are not to be found here. Bathers should therefore be ready to bring their own necessities.
