Beach Okuklje

The picturesque Bay of Okuklje is characterized by piers and moored boats. You will find no expansive beach sections here. However, there are rocky and concreted areas from which stairs lead into the sea, so that it is possible to take a refreshing swim in the Adriatic here. A special feature in Okuklje is the large boulder here which is accessible via a small footbridge. Since there are no gently sloping shores, swimming is not recommended for families with small children and non-swimmers. The local beach has no significant facilities and there are only a few taverns located nearby. Bathers, therefore, must basically rely on themselves to bring everything necessary.
