Southwest of the mouth of the Pantan River located 1.7 km to the northeast of the old town, the finely pebbled Pantana Beach invites visitors for some ideal swimming. In some cases, the beach is even sandy in some sections. Near the nature reserve there are pine trees that promise a cool-down at this 500 meter long pebbled beach- that is if one really wants to leave the turquoise waters. The beach does provide a great shallow shore for bathing - especially for young children and non-swimmers. Several beach cafés serve refreshments and snacks. Near the beach there are also shops and a restaurant. Sporting ambitious guests will certainly enjoy the kayaks. Guests can easily reach the beach on foot, by taking bus Number 37 and by car. Toilets, changing rooms and lifeguards are available, as well as parasol and lounge chair rentals.
