Near the church of St. Nicholas there is the pebbled and sandy Perilo Beach. The distance to the center is about 1 km (southwest), which can be done conveniently on foot. The beach is crisscrossed by some grasses and green spaces, but provides little natural shade. At the edge, the rocks try to hinder the bathing experience somewhat, but they can be easily avoided. A beach café and a bistro serve meals and refreshing drinks. In summer, the beach is very busy due to its flat shore and sandy seabed. This beach is not recommended for peace-seeking bathers.
