The town has its distinctive name for a reason. The finely pebbled beach is one of the most beautiful in Croatia and annually attracts many enthusiastic swimmers to Pjescana Uvala. Families with children, the elderly and non-swimmers are in particularly good hands here. The beach's shores fall very gently into the turquoise sea, so that you can splash around safely here. The beach is lined with lawns and some shady trees. Due to the bay being very protected, many fishermen and boat owners find a safe haven here during bad weather or storms. A popular destination is the long promenade which you can saunter wonderfully on. Many restaurants and bars are located here, where you can let the flavors of the Istrian cuisine do their magic and view the sea. It can get quite lively on the beach of Pjescana Uvala, especially during peak season.

Leisure options include a floating water park, a sports court for basketball and soccer, beach volleyball and a children's playground. On the beach there are also changing rooms, showers and a lifeguard. Lounge chairs and umbrellas can also be rented.
