Under the “Blue Flag” guests can enjoy their holidays at the popular Plava Plaza City Beach, also known as the “blue beach”. The 500 meter long pebbled beach stretches 1.1 km west of the marina. The sea is calm and clean here due to its shallow waters and its location in the bay and is the reason why the beach's turquoise waters stay so crowded.
The beach is very popular with everyone. There are showers, changing rooms and sanitary facilities, as well as parasol and lounge chair rentals. Among the many leisure activities include, inter alia, pedal boat and jet ski rentals, water polo, ping-pong and beach volleyball.
There is a diving and sailing school also located here. Beach bars, cafés and restaurants are also available.

Comment: Meine familie hatte ein wochenendhaus in Vodice vor 50 Jahren. Meine Cousin und meine Cousine aus Maribro hatten es bis 1989. Vodice erlebte ich noch ohne Hotels. Ich erlebte noch den Bau des ersten Hotels Punta. Daneben hatten wir unsere vikendica. Ich sage allen Bewohner und Nachbarn von damals hvala lepu.
