Beach Plitvine Bay

Located beneath a hotel in the Bay of Plitvine is an idyllic beach which, as it gets closer to the hotel, becomes equipped with concrete lying areas, but the  sea bed, however, is covered with pebbles and stones. Here bathers can reach the sea over steps. The actual beach is located in the eastern region and is covered with pebbles and even more finer pebbles. The water here in the bay is relatively shallow at first, which is typical, and is what children and non-swimmers enjoy very much. The beach has a separate swimming area, lifeguards, changing rooms and showers. On the beach there are tennis courts belonging to the hotel. Bathers can get refreshed from a selection of beach bars, restaurants and cafés. A parasol and lounge chair rental service is available locally. The bay can be reached by going 2.8 km in a north-westerly direction on the local road. There are also taxi boats operating here.
