The beach in Podstrana stretches out about 50 meters parallel to the coastal road and is accessible by both car and bus. The coast is covered with white pebbles and is divided into piers every 30-40 meters. Below the houses located up on the slopes, you can enjoy a swim in the turquoise sea and relax on the beach's shallow shores. It is a beautiful beach- even for the smallest of bathers. The vegetation from the surrounding cottages and gardens situated right on the beach makes for a great green panorama, but provides little or no shade. Numerous restaurants and beach cafés frame the beach. Lounge chairs and parasols can be rented here. Showers and changing rooms are available as well as some recreational and water sport activities. At the southern end of the coastline there is a beach bar, “M Caffe”, which is especially popular with young people. This beach bar is where most of the summer beach parties take place. Adding to the variety of the beach, there is also a leisure and sports facilities.
