The Polaca Bay is located 2km northwest from the town center and is home to a pebbled and rocky beach with concrete bathing terraces that shares its name. The edges of the small beach are often interspersed with large stones, so bathing shoes are recommended. There is a children's playground, a café, a newspaper stand and a mini supermarket selling ice cream on the beach. In some places, you will find shady trees and park benches. Parking is available along the coastal road. The sea is turquoise, but can sometimes be quite rough and wild.
