West of the anchorages and the ferry port, you will come across the central, sandy and pebbled Polace Beach. The beach has gently sloping shores that allow for young children and non-swimmers to swim safely. For all other bathers, the comfortable transition is also enjoyable. The beach is surrounded by shady trees, so that additional sun protection is not absolutely necessary. Whether or not umbrellas or lounge chairs can be rented is currently not known. Close to the beach you will find gastronomic delights located in the port. Likewise, there is also the possibility to rent boats and canoes. Anyone interested in diving should visit the diving center in the village.
