The island of Bisevo is just a few nautical miles southwest of Komiza and is a popular destination, especially due to having some caves, such as the Blue Grotto. It is also popular for its beautiful bathing coves, such as the sheltered and very idyllic Bay of Porat. The 100 meter long Porat Beach has shallow shores covered with pebbles and fine sand and provides ideal swimming conditions for children and non-swimmers. The shallow swimming area of the bay is protected from the boats by a dividing line. Lounge chairs can be rented at the small beach bar. Umbrellas should be brought. In the immediate vicinity there are several restaurants.
