The Porat Beach lies close to the port and is a wonderful sight with its almost white pebbles and turquoise waters. This paradisaical beach was artificially created in 2011 and provides swimmers with shallow shores. In the water, the fine pebbles turn into larger stones. Except for the newly established beach café, the beach provides no other shady spots. The bringing of umbrellas is highly recommended. Dressing rooms and boat and pedal boat rentals are available at the beach. On the road there is a fast food restaurant, a tavern and an ice cream dealer. Parking can be found along the road, partially under shady trees. The distance to the city center is only 800 meters. Nearby is Arbanija's monastery.
