To the east of the harbor, there is the small, adjoining Bay of Preko that has a beautiful, pebbled beach with shores that gently slope into the sea. The Adriatic Sea here is clear and turquoise - a real treat. On the beach there is a lawn providing areas for lying and shade-giving plants. On the northeastern sections of the beach there are stairs which facilitate in entering into the water. The beach becomes rocky towards the direction of the small bay with a boat gas station, but it also provides bathing plateaus. On the beach there are benches and a children's playground, a supermarket and a few dining options at the junction leading to the harbor. Parking is available nearby. The beach is recommended for families with children, couples and older people.
