As a carrier of the "Blue Flag", the Punta Beach - a short stroll from the Punta Hotel- is extremely popular. The rock and concrete beach can be reached from the center by heading about 900 meters to northwest along the west coast of the Bay of Veli Losinj. On the terraced sunbathing areas there is plenty of time to relax and sunbathing on rented loungers, when you are not busy refreshing yourself in the beach bar. Ladders are provided on the concrete surfaces for easy access into the water. A narrow gravel section is popular with children, who can play in the shallow shore waters. For a bit of variety, water skiing, canoes and other recreational activities are provided. Since the beach has little natural shade, it is a good idea to bring or rent an umbrella rental on site.
