The most famous beach in Brela is located 800 meters northwest of the town center. Punta Rata is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, while also having claim to a very popular photo motif: The stone of Brela. The finest of pebbles fall to the crystal clear, shallow sea. Here the sandy sea bottom is speckled with stones. The high popularity of the beach is supported by its "Blue Flag", its various tourist services (including parasol and lounge chair rentals, jet skiing, and pedal boat rentals), a restaurant and a beach café. Around the pine tree-lined beach there are all sorts of conveniences, such as showers, toilets and changing rooms; swimming in seclusion is not possible here, however.
