Beach Račišće

The beach of Racisce lies in the center of the town, directly below the promenade, which is lined with some Mediterranean trees. The beach is only somewhat suitable for families with small children and non-swimmers because the sea becomes quite deep only after a few meters of entering the waters. At this quite long but narrow beach, you can bathe under the old, picturesque stone houses. Some tamarisk trees provide some shade. The surrounding cafés and restaurants serve typical Dalmatian cuisine and refreshments. Shopping and parking are located in the vicinity. The docks where the fishermen anchor border the beach's western side. Recreational activities or toilet facilities are not known of. It is highly recommend that bathers bring what they will need for a day at the beach- at least in terms of some bathing accessories and entertainment.
