The local beach of Povlja is located on a small peninsula in the western region of the harbor bay. From the center, which is located across the bay, it is only around 550 meters to the Ratac Beach. The rocky and concrete beach is framed by a thick forest, where you can cool down under the trees. The shallow beach is accessible via stairs and ladders, which have been installed on the bathing plateaus. Bathing shoes are recommended for the rocky seabed. On the beach there are park benches and showers. Catering and public toilets can not be found directly on the beach, but can be reached by going only a few minutes towards the center by boat or on foot.
