Beach Sumpetar 2

type of beach: fine gravel, gravel

Category: Family beaches

Infrastructure: Accessible by public transportation

Activities: Snorkeling

Lying about 200 meters southwest of the town, at its exit, there is a pebbled beach situated on the narrow coastal section below the main road. One does hear the noise from the road and this beach, compared to the central pebbled beach of Sumpetar, is less attended. Swimmers of all ages enjoy the gently sloping shores here and crystal clear sea which is perfect for snorkeling. Since the water does become deeper only after a few steps, this beach may not be suitable for the youngest swimmers. A staircase leads from the road down to the beach. Natural shade at the beach is rare, but occasional and there is no significant infrastructure or tourist offers locally present. There is a small beach bar located just a skip to the west.
