The Sunj Beach on Lopud Island is popular with tourists and day-trippers because of its sandy texture. The wide sandy beach is located in a deep bay on the southern coast, 1.6 km southwest of the town center. The path to the beach is paved. Families with small children and non-swimmers enjoy the shallow shores, that first become deep after going 70 meters in. Beach visitors will find variety on beach by playing volleyball, tennis or picigin - or by simply enjoying the sun on this sandy beach with parasol and lounge chair rentals. There are two restaurants serving food and beverages and there is a public toilet nearby. The northern area of the beach is reserved for naturists visitors.
