A few hundred meters west of the fortress lies the Torac Beach. The pebbled and concreted beach, with some sandy sections, is just the place for some fun-filled bathing in shallow shores. The beach's central location below the promenade makes it easy to reach. Some pine and palm trees provide shade in the background of the beach. While the narrow gravel section has a gently sloping shore, you have to enter the sea via a few steps from the concrete bathing plateaus. There is wheelchair access into the sea via a ramp. Torac has a playground, park benches, a toilet and changing rooms. In the evening the beach is crowded and becomes a place for holding numerous events during the summer months. There are parking facilities along the road. Lounge chairs and parasols can not be rented here.
