If you follow the coast a few hundred meters in an easterly direction (mainland) from Trstenik, you will quickly reach a small bay with shallow shores shimmering an emerald green. The coast here is very diverse consisting of fine pebbles and rocks. In the shallow bay, you can enjoy the secluded Mediterranean landscape of Trstenik and the views of the Mljet Island, where the Mljet National Park lies. The beach is only about 600 meters away from the center of Trstenik. The path to the beach makes its way through the densely vegetated landscape and sturdy footwear is recommended. Likewise, it is also advisable to pack all bathing accessories, including sun protection, because there are no other tourist offers here- except for a beach beach bar serving refreshments and snacks. Around 700 meters away, in a southeasterly direction, you will find the Zaglavak Bay which is home to another beautiful, finely sanded beach with rocky sections and gently sloping shores.
