The main beach in the town center of Turanj has both pebbled sections and paved lying areas. The beach is segmented into many distinct sections by its many small jetties that serve as boat docks and by the small, sheltered marinas. Mediterranean vegetation provides some shade on the pebbled beach that slopes gently into the deep blue Adriatic Sea. Benches invite you to stay on a regular basis. The gentle waves ensure that the beach is popular with families with children. The beach has been built to be barrier-free and has a wheelchair ramp with handrails that slopes gently into the sea. Dogs are not allowed on this section of the beach.

On the beach there are showers and changing rooms and there is a court for youths to play basketball, football and hand ball on, as well as a beach volleyball field, a water polo area in the harbor, pedal boat rentals, and children's games, like a trampoline. Shopping and parking facilities are located nearby. The beach is recommended for families with children, the elderly and persons with disabilities.
