type of beach: gravel

Category: Beaches in idyllic bays, Romantic beaches, Family beaches

Infrastructure: Public parking near, Natural shade, Ice cream, Beach bar, Beach chair rentals

Activities:

On the west bank below the lime kiln ruins there is the small pebbled beach of Veli Dolac, whose edges are interspersed with rocks and jetties. The shore rolls flatly into the sea, but becomes deep very quickly. In the beach's background there is a dense pine forest, in whose shade you can find a nice place to cool down. There is no shade directly on the beach. You should also remember to bring your own sunscreen because no umbrellas are rented here. At the Veli Dolac Beach there is no other infrastructure, except for a small kiosk selling cold drinks and snacks. The beach is best reached on foot or by boat. Bordering the Veli Dolac Beach to the north is the small Bay of Zadusna- a bit smaller, yet more idyllic. It also has a lounge chair rental service and a beach bar.
