Beach Viganj

The coast of Viganj is mainly visited by windsurfers and kite-surfers, but swimmers also like to make their way here. In the center and to the west there are many small beach sections covered with pebbles that are divided by jetties. Along the beach you will always find shady places under the pines and the palm trees and some green areas with park benches for relaxing. The vantage point here looks towards the south to the neighboring island of Korcula. The sea is not always accessible via a gently sloping shore, but always shallow. The seabed is also often of a stony nature and bathing shoes, therefore, are not a bad idea. Even small children and non-swimmers can swim freely in the Adriatic. The narrow beach is directly accessible via the promenade from virtually any location. Some dining options, such as restaurants and taverns with beautiful terraces and a beach bar with an adjoining barbecue restaurant, are all right there along the central beach in Viganj- so you can easily drop by for a lunch. There is also a supermarket in the center.
