In the village there is a gently sloping, natural, pebbled beach whose edges are adorned by Mediterranean trees that provide most welcomed shade in the summer. Many small boat docks also serve as bathing plateaus for sunbathing or for jumping into the water. The shore is rocky and often not very even. Bathing shoes are recommended. The crystal clear water, however, compensates for that. Although it has not been declared an official dog beach, animals are tolerated towards the edges. The beach, without any special infrastructure, is equally suitable for romantic couples, peace seekers and visitors with dogs.
