The local beach of Zivogosce extends below a few holiday cottages in the backdrop of the vast Biokovo Mountains. With gently sloping banks consisting of pebbles and stones, the beach is popular with families with small children and non-swimmers. Older children and teenagers find some variety by renting pedal boat or on the playground behind the beach. Above the beach, there are cafés and restaurants which serve refreshments and provide shade. On the beach there is not continuous shade, but a lot of it. However, it is possible to rent umbrellas, as well as lounge chairs and jet skis. Visitors will find changing rooms, showers and public toilets.
