The local beach of Zuljana is one of the finest in the region and attracts visitors because of its location embedded in the shallow bay and the surrounding lush hills which give it quite a Caribbean flair. The picturesque Bay of Zuljanas has a sandy seabed. On land, the beach partially consists of sandy, finely pebbled and rocky sections. Long stretches of the bay are very shallow and calm, so that small children and non-swimmers can swim carefree here. The shallow beach is also ideal for playing picigin. Along the waterfront promenade there are restaurants, cafés and bars. On the northern edge of beach there is a field for football and a court for basketball. There is also a diving center- ideal for exploring the diverse marine life and a shipwreck. Furthermore, there are water sports rentals, including sail boats, pedal boats, jet skis, canoes and kayaks. Parasol and lounge chair rentals are also available.
