On all official beaches in Crikvenica dogs are prohibited. At the beach of Lucica however, there is a section - Podvorska – that tolerates dogs. This beach is located approximately 300 meters south of the river mouth on the Adriatic Sea. The shallow shores allow people and pets convenient access to the sea, which is only partially traversed by large stones. On site, there is the possibility to rent parasols and loungers, which increases the bathing quality of the pebble beach. Only a few meters from the beach you can re-strengthen and refresh yourself in one of the cafés or bars.

Was in Kroatien so Hundestrand genannt wird, da kann ich nur müde lächeln. Der Strand ist ein felsiger Abschnitt, null Schatten. Man kann sich mit seinem Hund in die knalle Sonne legen...tztztz.... Der sog. Strand ist vollgekackt, keiner Macht seine Haufen weg, überall Glassplitter von zerbrochenen Flaschen. Die "Hundebar" ist mal geöffnet, mal nicht. Für kleine Fußhupen mag der Strand geeignet sein, für richtige Hunde keinesfalls. Wir waren im Sommer 2015 dort. Crikvenica ist mittlerweile zu einem ganz miesen Tourikaff abgestiegen, abgesehen von den mittlerweile unverschämten Preisen in der Gastronomie (mieses Essen) sowie bei den Unterkünften (Unrenovierte Hütten aus den 60er/70er Jahren). Und ich weiß wovon ich rede. Ich bin Kroatin und habe mein halbes Leben hier Urlaub gemacht. Die Hunde sind in der Ferienzeit permanent anzuleinen. Es gibt KEINEN Auslauf für den Hund! Wir haben einen Ridgeback und der ist sehr lauffreudig. Unangeleint Gassi unmöglich! Fahrrad fahren mit oder ohne Hund, lebensgefährlich! Mit Hund nur außerhalb der Saison, ansonsten ist es eine Qual für Hund und Herrchen. Ich würde NULL STERNE vergeben, muss aber der Bewertung halber mind. 1 Stern vergeben.
