About 3 km south of the center of Punat is an official dog beach, where man's best friend can run and swim while on holiday. It is a pebbled and rocky beach in idyllic surroundings, which can easily be reached on foot or by car. Due to a lack of infrastructure, you should make sure to bring enough food and drink supplies to last you the day.

The dog beach is utterly awful in all regards. In Another beach (a free one), I've been assaulted by a local guy who threatened me with and pushed me against the rocks hurting me, all beacause he didn't want my dog on the beach (he also threatened to hurt my dog throwing rocks. I called the police and they never showed. Is this how you treat tourists in Croatia?

Awfull dog beach if one could call it so. First, it is not a beach. No place to lay down, all rocks, dangerous access to the see. Completely at the end of the town and all other beaches. As if it would not be for socialised pets but some kind of dirty and dangerous criminals. Very bad. The town officials should know that pet owners makes even better and more spending tourists...
